Stuck Kitty

We've been having a go at descriptive writing in class using a picture with an animal theme - have a read of what some of us wrote...

 

(E.M.)  The ginger kitten looked at the shiny goldfish.  His tummy rumbled so he climbed the dark green palm tree to catch them.  Then suddenly . . . splash!  The kitten fell in but luckily his paws caught the tank's edges.  After a long, long time his owner came and quickly pulled him out.  They dried him with a heater and soon he was warm and comfy again.  He was safe and sound. 

(E.W.)  The silly, cute, crazy, little kitten was staring at the playful goldfish that were dancing around like mad.  So she went up the palm tree for a closer look and splash she ended up in the tank.  The fish were shocked to see a cat in their tank.  She tries to climb out but her paws just slide down.  She was sad and hanging on the side.  Then she heard the old door open and in came her owner and got her out of the tank.

(A.H.)  The cute kitten was on a green palm tree.  He saw some yummy looking goldfish and tried to take a closer look.  When he did kerplunk he was in the glass cold tank and he was stuck.  His paws were slipping on the side of the tank.  The poor fish were terrified and hid in the corner of the tank.  The ginger kitten was all wet and slimy and he wanted to get out but he couldn't.  A few minutes later he heard the door open and he was thrilled to see his owners.  They helped him out and dried him off and he was happy at last.

(M.R.)  The kitten found himself stuck in the fish tank not knowing how to get out, but luckily his paws were keeping him from falling.  A little while past and the ginger kitten's legs were as cold as an ice block.  The fish of course were laughing their fins off.  Finally he heard the door creak.  "Yay!" thought the kitten I'm rescued at last, and indeed he was.
